Calming Nighttime Tea

calming nighttime tea recipe caitlin curiosity

Nighttime teas are as much of a ritual to me as my morning tonics and this one is my all-time favorite. Super yummy and so soothing right before bed to help my generator energy wind down for the night.

Chamomile and passionflower are especially gentle, calming, and soothing on the nervous system. Roses can have the some effect and can bring peace and healing around matters of the heart. And nettle leaf is at the top of my favorite herbs because I credit it to helping my hair grow quickly and so thickly. I think it grounds the flowers out from making it taste overly floral and like cheap perfume.

It’s such a simple recipe once you have all the herbs on hand which I’ve linked up to my favorite site. Buying in bulk is super budget friendly and goes such a long way!

i prefer my teas unsweetened but add a little bit of raw, local honey if you prefer yours lightly sweetened.
